In Practice
All our digital learning resources are suitable for use with an interactive whiteboard or data-projector.
In the classroom
Make use of your interactive whiteboard or data-projector and simply run the DVD from your classroom PC/Mac. Alternatively, access the website live online. Note that you don’t need to be online to use the resources on the DVD or any lessons you’ve already downloaded from the website.
In the hall
You’ll need to make sure there is a data projector (or IWB) available, with decent speakers. If you’re a peripatetic teacher do please ask the class teacher for this when you’re planning the sessions at the beginning of the year. They will usually be delighted to help especially when they see the digital resources you’ll be using.
In a cupboard?
If you are an instrumental teacher teaching in a small room and you wish to use the resources with an individual student or small group, you’ll need to run them from a laptop. In this setting the usefulness of the resources is more apparent when you take the extra step of enabling children to practise with them online between lessons.
